Job Title: Integration and Test Technician

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Integration and Test Technician, where you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems that have a profound impact globally. You will be part of a fast-paced environment, collaborating with physicists, design engineers, and superconducting foundry engineers to bring advanced technologies to life. This position is based on-site at our Advanced Technology Laboratory in Linthicum, Annapolis Junction, MD.

Responsibilities

Setup, test, calibrate, and commission fully functional systems in collaboration with a dedicated execution team.

Review and implement engineering drawings to manufacture complex test systems.

Coordinate revisions with project design engineers.

Install complex RF assemblies, including making connections and routing large cable assemblies.

Work with engineers to troubleshoot hardware failures as needed.

Read and understand wiring diagrams.

Devise and implement methods and procedures for evaluating the accuracy of test stand installs based on provided drawings.

Utilize basic hand tools and lifting equipment.

Apply knowledge of electronic principles to wire and assemble circuits, and understand the operation of basic test equipment.

Essential Skills

High school graduate or recognized equivalent.

Possession of an Associate's Degree with a minimum of 60 semester hours or equivalent study with a major in Electronics.

Minimum of six months military electronic school plus two years working experience in maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical equipment.

Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electronic test systems.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Experience in cabling and rack installation/electronic system integration.

Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Current and active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with superconducting electronics test platforms.

Experience with cryogenic test environments.

Experience with microwave electronics.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

Work Environment

This role requires working on-site at the Advanced Technology Laboratory in Linthicum, Annapolis Junction, MD. It involves a 1st Shift 9/80A work schedule, with 10% travel. The work environment is fast-paced, involving collaboration with various engineers and the use of advanced technology tools and equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $47.00/hr.
