Job Purpose / Summary:The Administrative Assistant performs routine clerical, secretarial, and administrative work in answeringtelephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, rent collection, data processing, and recordkeeping.Essential duties and responsibilities:- Duties include but are not limited to:o Date stamp, sort and distribute inter-office and external mail.o Communicate with residents; respond to their inquiries.o Assist the accounts receivable, payable and accounting departments with administrative taskso Assist the CFO with rent renewal paperworko Correspond with outside agencies and ownership- Functions:o Receive the public and answer questions, in person and by telephone; respond toinquiries from residents, clients and others and refer, when necessary, to the appropriateperson, official or departmento Prepare and process various projects' paperwork, edit and get approved for distributiono Compose, @type and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda and other materialo Other duties as assignedCore Competencies:- Confidentiality- Effective Communication- Customer Orientation- Problem Solver- FlexibilityDirect supervisory roles:- Not applicableKey working relationships and interactions:___Housing Management You Can Trust!- Property Manager- Residents- Clients- Maintenance Team- Administration Team- Accounting Team- Management Team

General QualificationsWork Environment:This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment suchas computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member tosuccessfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the TeamMember is regularly required to talk or hear. The Team Member is frequently required to stand; walk; usehands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Minimum Requirements:- High School diploma or equivalent- At least two years of administrative experience- Computer Skills- Typing speed of at least 45 WPM
