We are seeking a 2nd Shift Quality Technician for our INSPECTION department! In this role, the QUALITY TECHNICIAN will ensure materials and finished goods conform to all company and customer standards. Perform inspections on incoming materials and in-process and final product to ensure quality levels are met. Perform first piece set-up and First Article Inspections in accordance with established inspection plans. Assist Quality Engineers in the execution of engineering studies. QUALITY TECHNICIAN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but not limited to: Use appropriate measuring tools and equipment to verify dimensional and functional requirements. Conduct in-process validations, in-process inspections, and monitoring, analyzing the quality of manufacturing processes and products. Perform containment activities preventing potential or additional quality defects. Perform formal documented First Article Inspection (FAI) reports for internal and external customers. Make recommendations to develop and maintain control charts for monitoring / improving performance. Aid in performing product reviews and analysis to determine cause and/or disposition. Assist with internal and external audit support. Problem solve for both product and manufacturing processes. Provide support to design, manufacturing, and quality engineering functions for data collection, analysis, product review, and process capabilities.
