As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will support a positive atmosphere for staff and visitors. You will also deliver excellent customer service and clear communication, embodying our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

Document observations, incidents, and activities as required by site procedures, maintaining accurate and timely records.

Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and helping to manage the flow of personnel and vehicles within the location.

Remain alert to surroundings and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards according to site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

At least one year of security-related experience is required.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
