As a Security Officer - Retail Patrol in Ontario, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail distribution environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or property damage within the retail distribution environment.

Communicate in a professional manner with visitors, employees, and/or vendors encountered during patrols.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as needed.

Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, observations, and/or patrol activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
