Position: This position is based onsite 100%, Hauppauge NY Job Description: The primary function of the individual is to be a subject matter expert regarding documentation processes. Individual will maintain an effective document control process, ensuring that all manufacturing and testing documentation is accurate, meets quality specifications and applicable customer specifications; keeping documents up to date and accurately distributed to relevant parties while meeting production demands. Responsibilities:- Verify accuracy of part entries, BOMs, and revisions in ERP system.- Create, edit and format document change instructions to modify parts, assemblies, and BOM documentation within the ERP system.- Manage files to ensure current revisions are available.- Contribute to improving data collection and data maintenance methods from the various systems utilized.- Collaborate with appropriate departments, including engineering, production and quality, to resolve documentation discrepancies.- Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills:- Excellent interpersonal skills.- Excellent project management skills.- Accurate, organized, and detailed.- Must be able to complete work assignments with minimal supervision.- Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills- Ability to work in fast-paced environment- Effective communication skills; verbal and written- Ability to handle multiple assignments competently, accurately and efficiently This position requires access to technology, material, software or hardware that is controlled by export laws of the US.
