Schedule

Upon hire you will work full-time Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm.

Pay Rate

The wage for this position is between $38 and $43. Hourly wage is dependent upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.

What you'll be doing:

Maintain general ledgers and prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement and Cash Flow Statements) for four separate companies

Prepare financial reports, actual to budget and forecast for monthly financial meetings

Enter, review and approve invoices; research billing inaccuracies

Manage in-office cash payments from clinic

Monitor 4 intercompany accounts in QuickBooks to ensure they are balanced

Process payroll wires with third party HR firm

Book monthly accruals

Ensure accuracy of merchant deposits to the bank account

Provide guidance to staff accountant related to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and journal entries

Monitor bank account on a daily basis; prepare cash analysis

Reinforce internal controls for all accounting transactions/processes

Report financial results to a non-financial audience

Research discrepancies to reconcile vendor and bank accounts

Coordinate with outside CPA firm on tax planning and filing of tax returns (only during end of year and tax season)

File business license renewals annually for all internal companies

Implement and document standard operating procedures

Maintain notes and coordinate payments as needed

Other accounting duties as needed

Qualifications:

5 years+ accounting management experience

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Active CPA preferred

Strong organizational and time management skills

Implementation of new accounting systems and workflows

Highly reliable and ability to work independently

2 years+ of hands on QuickBooks experience

Pay Details: $38.00 to $43.00 per hour
