We are now seeking an experienced, innovative, and forward-thinking leader to serve as Senior Director of Marketing & Communications . This is a pivotal role that will shape and elevate Dycom's marketing and communications capabilities, manage and strengthen 37 subsidiary brands alongside the Dycom corporate brand , and ensure our messaging is strategic, compelling, and consistent. The leader in this role will take our MarCom function to the next level - advancing how we tell Dycom's story across customer, employee and industry audiences.
The Senior Director of Marketing & Communications is a strategic, dynamic professional responsible for building and executing Dycom's comprehensive marketing, brand, communications, and cause marketing agenda. This role requires a seasoned leader who can inspire a high-performing team, drive cross-functional alignment, and translate the Company's expertise, culture, and values into powerful, credible storytelling that enhances engagement and strengthens Dycom's reputation

What you'll do
Develop and execute a comprehensive, long-term marketing and communications strategy aligned with Dycom's corporate objectives.
Establish a clear vision for elevating Dycom's communications, storytelling, and brand presence across all audiences.
Collaborate closely with the Investor Relations-led strategic communications function to ensure all messaging - internal and external - is integrated, consistent, and aligned with Dycom's corporate narrative.
Bring a data-driven mindset to planning, measurement, and reporting, using analytics to optimize reach, engagement, and impact.
Lead and mentor a high-performing team of marketing and communications professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth.
Manage the department's budget and resource allocation to maximize effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
Manage, strengthen, and protect the Dycom corporate brand while overseeing brand alignment and consistency across 37 subsidiary brands , ensuring each reinforces Dycom's broader strategic identity.
Oversee brand architecture, visual identity systems, messaging frameworks, and overall brand governance across the organization.
Lead a portfolio-wide approach to marketing, ensuring brand clarity and cohesion while supporting the unique needs of each subsidiary.
Drive a best-in-class internal communications program that fosters transparency, understanding, alignment, and employee connection to Dycom's mission and strategy.
Oversee enterprise-wide communications including Town Hall messaging, corporate announcements, digital content, intranet updates, and leadership communications.
Ensure internal messaging reinforces Dycom's culture, strategic priorities, and business momentum.
Lead the development of integrated communication and content strategies that support business priorities and elevate Dycom's presence.
Oversee multi-channel content creation - including digital, social, video, visual, and written communications - ensuring quality, consistency, and strategic alignment.
Manage corporate events that support business and employee engagement, including quarterly Town Halls, leadership conferences, and offsites. Oversee content development, speaker preparation, technical setup, and event execution.
Partner with business development, operations, and subsidiary teams to support customer acquisition, retention, and partnership growth.
Oversee complete end-to-end management of trade shows and industry events - from strategic planning and booth design to content development, on-site execution, and post-event measurement
Support executive visibility through media engagement, speaking opportunities, authored content, and industry participation.
Lead Dycom's corporate philanthropy and community engagement programs, ensuring all initiatives reinforce Dycom's brand, values, and strategic priorities.
Develop cause marketing campaigns that strengthen Dycom's reputation, community impact, and employee engagement.
What you'll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, or relevant field.
10+ years of progressive marketing and communications leadership experience, including 5-10 years in a senior leadership or executive role.
Proven experience building, scaling, and leading high-performing marketing and communications teams.
Experience managing complex brand portfolios and multi-brand architecture strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success leading comprehensive marketing, communications, and brand programs aligned to corporate strategy.
Experience shaping unified messaging across audiences, including customers, employees, and industry partners.
Strong ability to balance brand strategy, creative storytelling, and data-driven decision-making.
Additional qualifications
Exceptional communication, leadership, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex topics into compelling narratives.
Skilled at representing organizations at industry events and conferences.
