Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a Contract basis in Spring, Texas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth financial operations by handling key accounting tasks such as invoice processing, account reconciliation, and vendor payments. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment and support the company's continued growth.

Responsibilities:

Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring proper documentation.

Manage vendor payments, including verifying and reconciling payment records.

Post customer payments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

Maintain and organize financial documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.

Utilize Excel tools such as pivot tables and V-lookup to analyze and manage financial data.

Support accounting functions related to the construction industry.

Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently.

Perform data entry tasks to ensure the accuracy of accounting records. Requirements

Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Proficiency in accounting software.

Strong skills in Excel, including familiarity with pivot tables and V-lookup.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to process invoices and reconcile accounts effectively.

Experience in financial data entry and documentation.

Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.

Familiarity with accounting practices in the construction industry is a plus.
