The Bridgewater Virginia electrical components production team has an opening for a Wire Shop Technician. The electrical production team's mission is to produce high quality electrical system components while supporting multiple customers.

THE CHALLENGE (primary responsibilities)

As a Wire Shop Technician, you will be:

Inspecting products for compliance with drawings

Operating a laser wire marking machine

Building complex wire harness assemblies and junction boxes

Building and testing coax assemblies

Installing electrical equipment and harness assemblies on aircraft and in facilities

Working with electrical engineering and mechanical engineering teams to review drawings and provide production feedback

WHAT SETS YOU APART (basic qualifications)

High school diploma or equivalent and 3 - 5 years of prior relevant experience.

1 to 3 years of electrical harness and junction box fabrication.

Strong electrical system troubleshooting skills.

Ability to read and apply wiring diagrams.

Ability to read and apply mechanical assembly drawings.

Experience with proper application of wiring related tooling including contact crimpers, wire strippers and wire processing machinery.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Aircraft electrical systems training, military or civilian.

1 to 3 years of work in and around aircraft including facilities that have an active tool control and FOD control program.

Proficient in the use of electrical test equipment including multimeters, milliohm meters, video cable test equipment and vector network analyzers.

Experience operating laser wire marking equipment.

Experience with quality control program implementation.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
