Job Title: Ammonia Refrigeration Technician - Industrial Maintenance

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll perform preventive maintenance , troubleshoot and repair industrial refrigeration systems , and ensure production uptime. You'll also handle boiler checks , equipment overhauls , and work on electrical , welding , pneumatic , and hydraulic systems . Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on ammonia refrigeration equipment.

Troubleshoot and repair systems to maintain production uptime.

Conduct regular boiler and refrigeration checks .

Overhaul and update equipment as needed.

Repair and maintain electrical , hydraulic , pneumatic , and welding systems .

Complete additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Experience: Background in Ammonia Refrigeration .

3+ years in mechanical maintenance , including installation and troubleshooting.

Skills: Knowledge of hydraulics , pneumatics , electricity , plumbing , and PLCs .

Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks (bend, lift, twist).

Preferred: MN State Specialist Class Boilers license or higher.

Experience with industrial refrigeration systems and preventive maintenance .

Work Environment & Schedule

High noise levels, varied temperatures (warm to cold), slippery floors, moving equipment, and dust.

PPE required for safety.

Rotating Schedule: Monday-Wednesday + rotating weekends OR Wednesday-Friday + rotating weekends.

Second Shift: 1:00 PM - 11:30 PM

40 hours per week with alternating weeks of 30 hours straight time + 10 hours overtime for extra time off.

The pay range for this position is $51272.00 - $62628.00/yr.
