Robert Half is seeking a professional administrator to support a school principal for a client in Monmouth County.

Job Summary: The Secretary provides comprehensive administrative support to the school Principal, ensuring efficient office operations and facilitating communication between staff, students, parents, and external parties. This position requires excellent organizational abilities, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the Principal's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and events.

Prepare, proofread, and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports on behalf of the Principal.

Screen and route phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, providing information or directing requests as appropriate.

Maintain and organize confidential files, records, and documentation.

Assist with tracking deadlines, important dates, and school activities.

Help facilitate communication across faculty, staff, parents, students, and district administrators.

Prepare meeting agendas and minutes for school leadership meetings.

Support workflow automation or digital initiatives as directed.

Order office supplies and manage inventory for the Principal's office.

Perform data entry and basic reporting using school information systems or CRM platforms.

Support school safety and emergency protocols as needed.

Help coordinate special projects or events led by the Principal.
