Position: Screening & Referral Therapist

Location: Hays, Kansas

Pay: \$64,218 salary | \$325 sign-on bonus

Job Type: Full-Time | In-Person

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm OR 9am-6pm

What Youll Do:

Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for new patients, identifying psychological, social, and physical needs.

Provide crisis intervention services for scheduled and unscheduled appointments, including assessing risk, de-escalation, and making appropriate referrals.

Offer guidance and resources about available services, including mental health, substance use, and community support programs.

Maintain accurate clinical and administrative documentation in compliance with Center policies, ensuring timely completion of charts, reports, and referrals.

Participate in regular staff meetings and clinical supervision, actively seeking and applying feedback to enhance therapeutic skills and patient care.

Collaborate with other Center programs and departments to coordinate patient care and ensure continuity of services.

Support patients in accessing community resources, making referrals, and following up on progress as needed.

Qualifications:

Masters or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)

Current Kansas BSRB licensure as one of the following:

o Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Master Level Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist

o Licensed Master Social Worker (clinical track) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker

o Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with Mental Health Training track (or equivalent experience)

o Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist

Valid drivers license and driving record that meets insurability requirements (if using Center vehicle)

Ability to pass all require
