Job Description:

Our work depends on a Part Time Technical Consulting SME to support our Health and Human Services (HHS) Business Area, including Social Security Administration (SSA). This position provides an exciting opportunity to play a technical advisor role for critical HHS-specific technology and mission challenges. The breadth of our portfolio and the scale of our company ensure that you can take on new challenges and new roles as our business and mission-impact expands.

You should have experience supporting mission critical technical initiatives across SSA, and an ability to work collaboratively as part of the larger Federal Health division. A demonstrated customer intimacy and in particular, an understanding of the strategic direction for SSA is very important.

In this role, a typical day will include:

Bring technical / organizational best practices to the development of a technology modernization roadmap enabling expansion of the GDIT footprint across HHS agencies, in particular SSA.

Support technical modernization strategies, strategic captures, and business development in alignment with GDIT HHS related strategy.

Leverage existing relationships to: (1) enhance execution and support organic growth across strategic programs (2) provide technical feedback on identified and qualified new business opportunities in the HHS pipeline.

Provide high-level consulting to GDIT's strategy on the SSA landscape and to large, enterprise programs and initiatives within HHS.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

BS degree and 15+ years of senior leadership experience in federal IT operations, and/or technical business management.

Demonstrated experience leading large programs and enabling IT modernization strategy for SSA landscape at an enterprise scale.

Extensive background providing strategy for federal government program modernization; to include operations, and successful federal procurement focus on mission and Health IT services

Experience understanding customer needs for cutting edge technology and digital transformation; and how to deliver and advise on solutions for SSA

Specific experience and familiarity with Enterprise Architecture, Cloud, Storage, Network and Cybersecurity.

Communications, presentations, and strategy development are all paramount to your success. This position will interact with all levels of customer and GDIT leadership and must be able to effectively work within this environment.

Location : Hybrid position split between remote and a GDIT office or travel to customer sites.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance and/or Public Trust.

The likely salary range for this position is $32,300 - $43,700. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
