You will be the Manufacturing Engineer Sr for the THAAD Program Production team. Our team is responsible for delivering world-class missile systems through innovative manufacturing solutions.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Engineer Sr you will be responsible for advancing tool design and manufacturing processes that enable rapid, reliable production of the THAAD system.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Develop and refine tooling designs to meet production requirements.

Provide Design-for-Manufacture input and transition new or revised designs from development to production.

Lead manufacturing process validation activities and drive cost-reduction initiatives to closure.

Identify production risks and implement effective mitigation plans.

Support earned-value management and resolve tooling or manufacturing issues with internal and supplier teams.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN -?This position is located at a facility that requires?special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a Secret?clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree or higher in an engineering discipline

Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles

Ability to interpret drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data

Ability to travel domestic and/or international 25-50%

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering degree preferred

CREO Design Experience or other CAD program

Tooling design experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
