INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE MECHANIC - Queens, NY

We are seeking an experienced Sewing Machine Mechanic / Industrial Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, setup, and repair of industrial sewing machines, ensuring smooth and efficient production. You will work hands-on with advanced equipment and play a key role in keeping our plant running efficiently.

Hours, Salary & Benefits:

First shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM (OT available)

Salary: $20-$30/hour, depending on experience

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, PTO, FSA

What You'll Do:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial, automatic, manual and programmable sewing machines.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and provide lasting solutions.

Train operators and team members on proper machine use and maintenance.

Keep accurate maintenance records and manage parts inventory. What We're Looking For:

High school diploma or GED; technical training preferred.

3+ years of experience maintaining and repairing industrial sewing machines (Singer, Juki, Brother, Consew, Pfaff, etc.).

Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are a must.
