Assembler - Lubbock, Tx

1st Shift - $18/hr

Job Description

We are currently seeking dedicated manufacturing carpenters to join our team at a facility that specializes in building and repairing modular trailers. This role requires the use of hand tools, the ability to read a tape measure, and the operation of various equipment. Prior experience in basic electrical work, carpentry, and plumbing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform carpentry repairs on modular trailers.

Use and operate hand and power tools efficiently.

Read and interpret tape measures accurately.

Conduct repairs, cleaning, and installation services.

Inspect and maintain walls, siding, roofing, and windows.

Clean and maintain work areas, including the use of a floor buffer.

Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in carpentry, including the use of hand and power tools.

Basic knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing.

Ability to read and interpret tape measures.

Capability to lift up to 50lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with welding is a plus.

Some computer knowledge is advantageous.

Ownership of basic hand tools such as a hammer, screwdrivers, and wrench set.

Work Environment

The role involves both indoor and outdoor work in various weather conditions, including hot and cold environments. Work inside trailers that may not have air conditioning. The dress code requires steel toe boots, work pants, and a t-shirt. Safety glasses and gloves are provided by the company.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
