Description We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team on a contract basis in Loveland, Colorado. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail and a solid understanding of accounting principles and practices. The successful candidate will handle a range of financial tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable (AP) processes, including reviewing invoices and ensuring timely payments.

Oversee accounts receivable (AR) operations, ensuring accurate billing and prompt collection of payments.

Prepare and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.

Perform bank reconciliations to verify balances and identify discrepancies.

Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.

Assist in managing building permits and related financial documentation.

Analyze financial data and provide reports to support business decisions.

Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Monitor financial transactions to identify errors and implement corrective measures.

Support audits and reviews by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in the construction industry.

Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.

Experience with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.

Familiarity with handling building permits and associated documentation.

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with high levels of accuracy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for team environments.

Ability to analyze financial data and generate meaningful reports.
