Forklift Operator (Stand up or Reach Truck)- $23-$25/hr

Job Description

The Warehouse Worker is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of part mark stamps and quantities against receipt and shipping paperwork. This role involves electronically processing transactions through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and staging items on designated carts or racks. The worker will also package parts according to Material Handling Guidelines and kitting requirements, while adhering to 5S methodology and all safety principles within their personal work area and area of responsibility.

Responsibilities

Verify part mark stamp and quantity of parts with receipt/shipping paperwork.

Operate reach truck and stand up forklift

Package parts according to Material Handling Guidelines, kitting requirements, and kit boxes.

Maintain 5S standards within the work area.

Adhere to all safety guidelines and principles.

Essential Skills

Stand up Forklift or Reach Truck experience is required

Good interpersonal skills.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Use of RF (bar-code scan) devices.

Assertive communication and order delegation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Shipping and receiving experience is a plus

Order picking, order selecting

Loading or unloading trucks

Ability to multitask under time constraints and in a fast-paced environment.

Problem-solving skills related to order status.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a warehouse setting with different shift options available Days or Nights. These are 12 hour shifts 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
