Description

Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with hands-on experience managing international import and export operations. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of global shipping, customs regulations, and end-to-end supply chain coordination.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate international shipments, ensuring compliance with all import/export documentation and regulatory requirements.

Liaise with customs brokers, carriers, and freight forwarders to track shipments, resolve delays, and guarantee timely deliveries.

Prepare and review shipping documentation, such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and export declarations.

Oversee the scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments and manage logistics routing to minimize costs and optimize delivery timelines.

Communicate proactively with vendors and internal teams regarding shipment status, inventory levels, and problem resolution.

Maintain accurate records of shipping activities and oversee inventory reconciliation.

Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance international logistics efficiency.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Prior experience in logistics coordination with a strong focus on international import/export processes.

Knowledge of global customs regulations, international freight programs, and shipping compliance standards.

Proficiency with shipment tracking systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and logistics management software.

Exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Ability to troubleshoot shipment issues and develop solutions in real time.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate documentation.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
