Our client, a leading manufacturing and warehouse organization, is seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Utility/Sanitation Worker 16.50/hr to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Utility/Sanitation Worker 16.50/hr, you will be part of the sanitation and maintenance department supporting the production and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 2nd Shift Utility/Sanitation Worker 16.50/hr

Location: Elmsford, NY

Pay Range: $16.5

Shift: Monday-Friday, 11:00am-7:30pm

What's the Job?

Ensure sanitation routines and cleaning schedules are completed daily in a manufacturing & warehouse environment.

Perform general cleaning of all designated areas, including dish rooms, floors, walls, and equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.

Assist production staff with line breakdowns and cleanup projects as needed.

Maintain exterior cleaning of machinery and scheduled deep cleaning tasks to ensure the plant is audit-ready.

Regularly empty garbage bins and follow all sanitation procedures outlined by management.

What's Needed?

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Ability to maintain punctual attendance and perform job functions in hot and cold environments.

Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical activities such as squatting, reaching, bending, pulling, and pushing.

Mechanical aptitude; training will be provided.

Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work independently following a routine.
