Who You Are

A Principal Supply Chain Engineer for Lockheed Martin, Aeronautics

What You Will Be Doing

As a Principal Supply Chain Engineer at Lockheed Martin, you will play a key technical role in optimizing and managing supply chain solutions. You will partner with program management, engineering, procurement, suppliers and operations to meet schedule, performance and compliance objectives. You will act as a subject matter expert in supply chain engineering leading initiatives, influencing strategy, mentoring others and shaping organizational best practices

AeroSCM

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace)

In depth understanding of engineering design principles, configuration management and change control processes, with the ability to assess and communicate their impact on the supply base, material availability, and cost/schedule performance

Experience utilizing CAD tools to view, analyze, and extract geometric and dimensional data from solid models and engineering drawings

Experience interpreting GD&T, specifications, and product structure to evaluate supplier capability and manufacturability

Experience collaborating with design engineering, to influence design for manufacturability considerations

Desired Skills:

Master's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace)

Experience with Defense Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)

Proven history of supplier development/qualification and dual source strategy development

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
