Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. This role involves supervising general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries, while managing and mentoring a team of accountants and clerks.

Responsibilities

Supervise the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

Oversee general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and journal entries.

Manage and mentor a team of accountants and clerks to foster a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies.

Support the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal stakeholders and external auditors.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales to support business initiatives.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Maintain and improve internal controls and support audit readiness.

Essential Skills

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

CPA certification is preferred.

5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory experience.

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in the manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry is preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferred.

Work Environment

The position is fully onsite in Nottingham, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
