Growing manufacturing company seeks an Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper with proven QuickBooks experience. The Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper provides vital support to the office by managing day-to-day administrative operations and maintaining accurate financial records. This role ensures smooth office functioning through efficient coordination, organization, and bookkeeping practices, contributing to the overall success of the business. The ideal individual will keep the company aligned with compliance by following general accounting policies and procedures.

Major Responsibilities

· Perform general administrative duties including answering phones, managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining office files.

· Prepare and distribute internal and external communications, reports, and documents.

· Maintain office supply inventory and coordinate with vendors as needed.

· Record and reconcile daily financial transactions including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

· Process invoices, receipts, and expense reports accurately and on time.

· Prepare bank deposits and reconcile monthly bank statements.

· Maintain general ledger entries and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.

· Generate and maintain financial reports to support management and external accounting needs.

· Support management with special projects, reporting, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Requirements

The ideal Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.

Other requirements for the Administrative Assistant/Bookkeeper role include and are not limited to:

· 3+ years administrative/personal assistant experience

· Strong bookkeeping skills

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Strong Excel

· QuickBooks experience a MUST

· Excellent communication skills
