As an Assembly Mechanic Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing various components and systems in accordance with engineering specifications and quality standards. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production and delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

You will report directly to our ISC Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location with an onsite work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process and contribute to the overall success of our Integrated Supply Chain by ensuring the timely and accurate assembly of products.

THE BUSINESS UNIT

The Assembly Mechanic Level 2 role is part of our Integrated Supply Chain business unit. In this role, you will contribute to the efficient production and delivery of high-quality products to our customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform assembly and testing of components and systems according to engineering specifications and quality standards.

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.

Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in the assembly process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes and identify opportunities for efficiency and quality improvements.

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 2 years of experience in assembly or a related field.

Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.

WE VALUE

Technical certification or vocational training in a relevant field.

Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.

Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Strong problem-solving skills.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

PAY EQUITY

The annual base salary range for this position is $46,800 ($22.50/Hr. ) -- $70,200 ($33.75). Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
