Job Description

What You'll Do:

Installation and Configuration : Set up and configure transport network technologies, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Network Operation and Maintenance : Manage and maintain various transport networks, including Fiber Optic Cable, DWDM, Ciena, Nokia, Ribbon, Icons, Microwave (Aviat), and P25 radio systems, ensuring they operate efficiently.

Issue Resolution : Analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues and projects, implementing effective solutions to restore service and improve functionality.

On-Call Support : Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide ongoing support and ensure continuous network operations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate transport network solutions seamlessly, enhancing overall system performance.

Documentation Development : Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for network configurations and operational procedures, facilitating knowledge sharing and consistency.

Performance Monitoring : Regularly monitor network performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to optimize network efficiency.

Network Upgrades and Expansions : Assist in planning and executing upgrades and expansions of the network infrastructure to accommodate growth and evolving technology needs.

What We're Looking For:

Infrastructure Engineer Senior (SG7):

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience is required

An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Infrastructure Engineer (SG8):

Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience: 7 years of relevant work experience is required.

An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Nice-to-have:

ITIL Experience : Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITIL platforms is advantageous.

Transport Network Expertise : Experience with transport networks, including Fiber Optic (ADSS and OPGW), DWDM, Ciena, Nokia, Ribbon, ICON, and Microwave (Aviat), as well as network monitoring and management tools like MCP & Provision.

Communication and Analytical Skills : Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Independence : Capable of working independently with minimal direct supervision.

Licenses/Certifications : Possession of CCNA or equivalent certification from a transport network vendor.

Infrastructure Engineer (SG8): $96,110 - $124,941

$85,081.00-106,352.50 USD
