Accounting Project Manager

Reports To: Lead Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

Support operational projects focused on improving efficiencies in people and processes.

Assist in creating project plans, setting meetings, and managing schedules.

Develop and monitor budgets using Excel and prepare presentations in PowerPoint.

Act as a liaison between internal teams and third-party vendors/consulting partners.

Track project milestones and ensure timely delivery of tasks.

Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve process bottlenecks.

REQUIRED Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).

Experience: 5-10 years of experience in Project Management or Business Analysis within a corporate HQ environment, preferably in shared services for Accounting and Finance.

Prior experience working with Big 4 or other consulting firms.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with Smartsheet is a plus.

Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Plano, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
