As our Director of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will guide both the strategic vision and the day-to-day execution that fuels our company's performance. Partnering closely with the CFO and leaders, you will develop and execute, scalable growth strategies, while collaboratively driving productivity improvements. As a Director, you will lead a team of financial analysts and collaborate closely with Accounting, Merchandising, Operations, and senior leadership. Additional Duties Include: Strategic Financial Leadership Lead and coordinate overall FP&A activities with subject matter expertise of all company financial and economic drivers. Drive the organization's strategic financial planning framework, encompassing annual budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses, and ensure robust financial models, tools, and systems support data-driven decision-making. Provide financial insight and recommendations for key business decisions, capital investments, pricing strategies, and operational efficiencies. Lead modeling and analysis in evaluating new lines of business and acquisitions, including determination of fair value for potential targets. Financial Reporting & Analysis Oversee preparation and delivery of timely, accurate, and insightful financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for leadership. Monitor actual performance against budget and forecast; identify trends, opportunities, and risk areas. Continuously analyze key performance trends and metrics that connect business operations to financial results, including sales, expenses, capital investments, and resource utilization. Identify variances, uncover root causes, and collaborate with business leaders to develop actionable improvement plans. Present complex financial information in a clear, concise manner to senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders. Continuously refine financial models and data visualization tools to enhance business intelligence. Business Partnership & Collaboration Serve as a trusted advisor to company leaders, supporting decision-making through strong financial acumen and analytical insights. Collaborate with Accounting, Information Technology, HR, Merchandising, Operations, and other departments to gather assumptions, assess risks, and validate financial inputs to ensure alignment between operational strategies and financial plans. Support strategic projects such as cost optimization, capital allocation, pricing analysis, and acquisition due diligence. Partner with senior leaders to promote strong financial management practices and deliver meaningful insights that drive operational excellence. Lead ad hoc analyses and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting. Team Leadership & Coaching: Lead, coach, and develop the financial analyst team. Use financial reporting and insights to influence business decisions across the organization. Establish performance goals, monitor KPIs, and conduct performance reviews to ensure accountability and development.
