Senior Financial Reporting Analyst (onsite/hybrid) Location Notice: AgriBank is currently headquartered in downtown St. Paul. Please be aware that we will be relocating to Richfield, MN in August 2026. Position Overview As a key member of the Financial Reporting team, you will be part of AgriBank's mission to support the people who feed the world.The Senior Financial Reporting Analyst prepares, in whole or in part, monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for clients and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include recommending and implementing changes to report models, and identifying and implementing projects and process improvements. Job Functions Operational Process Execution Perform department quality control reviews, as needed, and communicates suggested changes Analyze financial statements and regulatory reports for data integrity issues and/or adequate explanation for changes Selects the authoritative accounting and regulatory guidance to apply Determines what disclosures to include, and how to classify financial data Prepares financial statements and regulatory reports in compliance with established procedures and checklists Reviews and independently prepares management reports Prepares supporting documentation for reporting based on established standards Responds to questions regarding reporting or data needs from clients, intradepartmental co-workers, auditors and other third parties, with assistance from Lead/Manager/Director Report Model Maintenance Maintains key financial reporting models to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, regulatory requirements, and internal controls over financial reporting Monitors Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and regulatory changes for impact to financial reporting models Implements and recommends model changes such as adding, removing and modifying data elements and qualitative commentary Recommends updates to desktop instructions and review procedures Implements changes in desktop instructions and review procedures Operational Process Coordination Performs and participates in training for new/promoted team members and new/revised processes, as needed Reviews requested deliverables from intradepartmental management, auditors and other third parties Prepares and submits requested information to intradepartmental management, auditors and other third parties Project and Process Improvements Participates in Bank and District-wide project teams Performs accounting and regulatory research and recommends accounting position or disclosure Recommends timing of project implementation Establishes test plans Executes test plans Reviews tests results and recommends changes, as needed Identifies and recommends projects and process improvements Relationship Management Develops and maintains business service relationships with clients, intradepartmental management, auditors and/or other third parties Communicates information and guidance regarding technical accounting and regulatory reporting issues, with assistance from Manager/ Director, as needed This job description is subject to change without notice. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field 2 years of public accounting experience or 5 years of related experience CPA preferred Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job Required Knowledge and Skills Advanced knowledge of GAAP Advanced knowledge of financial reporting standards and processes Intermediate knowledge of internal controls Intermediate knowledge of SEC rules and requirements Basic knowledge of FCA reporting regulations and requirements Basic knowledge of query language(s) Skills Advanced proficiency in office software Microsoft Office Suite Intermediate proficiency in enterprise performance management systems (e.g., EPM) Intermediate proficiency in querying large data sets Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and other sedentary criteria are met. The typical base range for this role is between $85,000 - $131,000. Compensation may vary based on individual job-related knowledge, skills, expertise, and experience.
