As a Security Officer - Retail Mall Specialist in Framingham, MA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming environment for all customers and staff. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible throughout the location, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the retail location.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

Observe and report any unusual activity and/or potential risks to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control and verify the credentials of individuals entering restricted areas within the location.

Support emergency response activities as needed, in accordance with site-specific guidelines and Allied Universal protocols.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, or other unwanted behavior.

Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Loss prevention experience is preferred.

CPR and first aid certification is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
