As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a bustling retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols and remaining highly visible throughout the area. Your presence will support a welcoming atmosphere for guests and staff while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall environment, including interior areas and the perimeter, to help to deter unwanted activity.

Observe and report any suspicious, unusual, or concerning behaviors and/or conditions to appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control, monitoring entrances and exits, and helping to support a secure environment for visitors, tenants, and staff.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed in the event of an incident.

Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft and unauthorized activity within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
