As a Cleared Security Officer - Armed Patrol Aero/Defense in San Antonio, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you'll use our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and Pick up open shifts based on your availability-giving you the freedom to build a schedule that works for you, while gaining valuable site experience across various industries. As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help prevent unauthorized activities, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $25.15 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing support as needed in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Carry out security-related procedures and observe site-specific policies, including those specific to the aerospace and defense environment.

Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and/or contractors with questions and concerns related to access and security-related matters.

Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry to restricted areas.

Assist in emergency response activities as appropriate, following established protocols and coordinating with Allied Universal management and site contacts.

Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Hold an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.

Possess CPR Certification is preferred.

An Armed Guard Card or License is required

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
