Position Summary

Serves as a compliance consultant in the compliance department of a third-party administrator (TPA). In this role the successful candidate will work collaboratively with team members throughout the organization on legal, regulatory and compliance related tasks and projects.

This position promotes and enforces compliance with state/federal laws and regulations and related-company policies, with an emphasis on ensuring compliance with privacy rule.

Identifies and assesses routine compliance issues that need resolution using established rules, regulations and guidelines, assists in the development of appropriate action plans and communications, monitors mitigation activity and appropriately informs and escalates matters to managers and subject matter experts.

Conducts fact gathering searches on moderately complex matters and provides basic analysis.

Responds to moderately complex requests for information within area of responsibility from internal and external constituents.

Required Qualifications

3 - 5 years of healthcare compliance experience, including investigating HIPAA privacy matters

3 years of self-funded health plan experience

Preferred Qualifications

Able to apply business knowledge to interpret and implement state and/or federal laws and regulations impacting our business or our clients.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$43,888.00 - $102,081.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
