What You'll Do

Hands-On Field Work: Conduct site visits to collect data, assess conditions, and support construction activities.

Design Support: Assist in the layout and design of overhead and underground electrical distribution systems.

Technical Analysis: Perform load calculations, voltage drop analysis, and equipment sizing.

Documentation: Help prepare engineering drawings, specifications, and reports using tools like AutoCAD and GIS.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, senior engineers, and utility representatives to ensure project success.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure all work meets industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.

What You Bring

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

0-3 years of experience in utility field work, construction, renewables, surveying, or similar.

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Familiarity with AutoCAD, GIS, and Microsoft Office.

Tech-savvy with experience using field data collection tools.

Understanding of electrical distribution systems and safety protocols.

Valid driver's license and willingness to work outdoors in various conditions.

Position Details

Type: Contract-to-Hire

Location: Bracey, Virginia (Field-based with travel across NC & VA)

Start Date: Immediate openings available

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bracey, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
