Job Title: Quality Supervisor
Job Description
As a Quality Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the quality management strategy, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will mentor and develop the quality assurance team while managing key performance indicators to drive quality enhancements.
Responsibilities
Improve the site quality management strategy in alignment with organizational goals.
Lead, mentor, and develop the quality assurance team, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure quality performance and drive improvements.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including ISO 9001 and applicable HVAC standards.
Coordinate internal and external audits and inspections to assess compliance and address non-conformance issues.
Maintain inspection and testing protocols for incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Oversee quality processes and procedures to ensure conformance of the Mesa manufacturing site.
Recommend improvements in products, processes, services, and procedures to enhance quality and efficiency.
Analyze quality data and feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Utilize Six Sigma and other continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and optimize processes.
Collaborate with engineering, sales, and manufacturing to review and resolve quality-related issues, including equipment or design concerns.
Understand customer needs and requirements to maintain effective quality control processes.
Collaborate closely with customer service and sales teams to address complaints and feedback related to product quality.
Oversee customer satisfaction metrics and strategies to enhance trust in our products.
Partner with cross-functional teams including engineering, production, and supply chain to improve product quality and reliability.
Ensure accurate documentation of quality processes, procedures, and results.
Help prepare and present quality reports, audits, and findings to management and key stakeholders.
Essential Skills
Extensive experience in quality control, identifying and correcting defects in finished products through inspections and testing.
Strong experience in quality assurance, maintaining a proactive process aimed at preventing defects by managing the entire production process.
Experience in quality inspection, evaluating products or services to ensure they meet quality standards.
Proven ability to implement continuous improvement practices in manufacturing processes.
Experience in lean manufacturing, with examples of reducing waste and improving efficiency in manufacturing processes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or similar is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within the manufacturing sector, preferably in HVAC.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
Proven experience leading quality teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build alignment across teams.
Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to balance quality needs with operational requirements.

Work Environment
Work in an air-conditioned manufacturing facility equipped with electric charging stations in Mesa, Arizona. The role requires physical activity, including lifting up to 35 pounds, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing portable ladders. Personal Protection Equipment is required, and good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination are necessary.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
