Now Hiring - Industrial Maintenance Technician

*Location: Des Moines

*Pay: $32/hour starting wage

*Job Description

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will inspect and maintain HVAC systems, low voltage systems, and industrial machinery. You will diagnose and repair issues with logic controllers and mechanical components, use precision instruments for equipment diagnostics, and perform welding tasks as needed. Collaboration with technical teams to improve equipment functionality and maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities are key aspects of this role. Safety protocols must be followed during all tasks.

*Responsibilities

Inspect and maintain HVAC systems, low voltage systems, and industrial machinery.

Diagnose and repair issues with logic controllers and mechanical components.

Use precision instruments, such as ohmmeters, for equipment diagnostics.

Perform welding tasks as needed.

Collaborate with technical teams to improve equipment functionality.

Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities.

Follow safety protocols during all tasks.

*Essential Skills

Experience in industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, and HVAC maintenance.

Proficiency in maintaining HVAC and low voltage systems.

Expertise in logic controller troubleshooting and industrial machinery repair.

Ability to use diagnostic tools and precision instruments effectively.

Mechanical problem-solving skills and preventive maintenance experience.

Proficiency in welding and PLC programming.

*Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in industrial mechanics.

Strong communication and documentation skills.

*Work Environment

The work environment is a laundry facility, where you may encounter clean and dirty laundry, with a potential musty smell at times. The position operates on a shift from 5pm to 1:30a. You will train on 1st shift for a couple weeks before moving onto the 2nd shift full time.
