TEC Equipment features Mack and Volvo heavy-duty trucks, Hino and Isuzu medium duty trucks, Wabash trailers and Cottrell auto transport trailers. We offer a large and desirable inventory of new Mack and Volvo heavy-duty trucks and all makes of used trucks. Our full-service line-up also features quality parts, state-of-the-art service, collision centers and fuel, leasing/rental, financing, and insurance. Our locations are authorized service centers for Mack, Volvo, Cummins, Meritor, Eaton and Fuller warranties. TEC truly offers the convenience of one-stop shopping for all trucking-related needs.
Overview
TEC Equipment sells a wide inventory of new and used trucks and also features parts, service, and financing. We have an immediate opportunity for a customer and sales-driven Used Truck Sales Representative who wants to be part of continuing to drive our success and status as a leader in the industry.
In this position, you will be responsible for developing new sales accounts and achieving monthly sales goals. To be successful, you will need to be a self-starter that will work hard to make a difference for our customers and our company. This position offers tremendous opportunity within a large market. Responsibilities
Identify, profile, and call on prospective customers within assigned territory, developing and applying strategy as necessary to obtain orders.
Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities. You must be comfortable with EXTENSIVE cold calling. You must have the drive to generate and follow through on new leads.
Ensure customer satisfaction from start of sale to delivery of truck, resolving any issues that may occur.
Maintain contact with existing customers in relation to their needs; connect customers to other internal departments as needed (e.g., finance, service, parts, insurance, and collision center).
Stay up-to-date on inventory, market, and customer trends.
Qualifications
Previous successful sales experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas
Excellent oral and written communication skills - you must be persuasive and be able to engage potential customers
Ability to learn equipment specifications to communicate effectively with customers
Ability to build relationships with customers, source business, and achieve sales goals
Valid driver's license with good driving record (no infractions in past 3 years)
Current CDL license and experience with class 8 truck sales preferred
Compensation
Our commission-only sales positions offer unlimited earning potential, based solely on your sales performance. We provide clear and transparent guidelines for calculating commissions, ensuring everyone understands how their earnings are determined. The annual pay for this position is expected to be approximately $86,555 - $129,833.
