Click the link below to learn more:SCHENCK USA CORP. - Have we met? - YouTubeWe are seeking an *Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and support electrical systems for balancing machines, facilities, and related equipment. This role involves electrical panel design, R&D, and customer support.Key Responsibilities:- Design and revise electrical panels, PLC systems, drive controls, and computer interfaces.- Develop and test new or modified products, including procedures, acceptance criteria, and reports.- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation (fabrication, testing, change notices, operating/maintenance procedures).- Ensure compliance with codes and standards.- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on technical design and requirements.- Provide customer training and support, including on-site visits.- Conduct research and development for new and existing products. - U.S. Person status required.- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.- 8-10 years' experience in electrical panel and power distribution design; or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Experience managing electrical engineering projects with limited supervision.- Experience in machine controls & panel design.- Proficient in AutoCAD (or similar); EPLAN P8 a plus.- Experience with PLC (Allen Bradley) and drive controllers preferred.- Strong ability to read/write technical documents and procedures.- Excellent communication, math, and computer skills; ERP knowledge (SAP preferred).- Must travel up to 10%, including internationally.Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, color, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, citizenship status, immigration status, marital status, genetic information, disability, protected veteran status or any other legally protected status.
