Surroundings. You'll be working in a retail warehouse environment with various equipment - shopping carts, pallet jacks, stock dollies, and a variety of products, including food and alcoholic beverages. You'll also interact with our digital shopping technology.
Activity. Work involves frequent movement between different areas, standing while conducting most tasks, and some lifting. You may need to reach into coolers or freezers.
Temperature. The warehouse is climate-controlled, but you may experience temperature changes when working with the reach-in refrigerated and freezer areas.

Dress code. Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. All associates must wear Amazon-approved comfortable, slip-resistant, closed-toe shoes for safety. Depending on the role or location, Amazon provides a $110 Zappos gift code towards the purchase of shoes, in order to have you prepared for your first day on the job.
New store opening. If you're applying to a location that hasn't opened yet, you'll help prepare the team for its first customer orders.
