Repair Technician - Entry-Level Friendly

Looking to take your mechanical skills to the next level? As a Repair Technician , you'll work hands-on with aircraft oxygen systems - diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding critical components that keep crews safe. If you've worked with tools, performed repairs, or handled mechanical/electrical systems (like in automotive, diesel, or industrial settings), this is your chance to step into the aerospace industry.

You'll receive on-the-job training with advanced diagnostic equipment, learn to read technical manuals and schematics, and gain valuable experience in a regulated FAA repair station. This role is perfect for mechanically inclined individuals ready to grow their career in a high-demand field.

What You'll Do

Diagnose, repair, and rebuild oxygen tanks and systems for aircraft

Use diagnostic equipment and trade-specific tools (multimeters, crimpers, heat guns, etc.)

Read and follow technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics

Apply mechanical and electrical knowledge to real-world repairs

Maintain shop equipment and supplies, keeping everything organized and ready

Document work in compliance with FAA regulations (training provided)

Support team projects and assist in developing new repair capabilities

What We're Looking For

Strong mechanical aptitude - experience with tools, repairs, or assembly (automotive, diesel, or similar)

Ability to follow procedures and diagrams accurately

Good communication skills - able to share findings clearly with teammates

Team player with a commitment to safety and quality

Willingness to learn aerospace-specific practices (training provided)

Work Environment

You'll work in a certified FAA Repair Station focused on maintaining oxygen systems, high-pressure tanks, and regulator assemblies. Safety and precision are our top priorities, and you'll be trained to meet the highest industry standards while building valuable technical skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
