As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol in Brookings, SD , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual activity and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist with controlling access to the location and verify credentials as required.
Support Allied Universal management in maintaining a secure environment within a manufacturing and industrial setting.
Document observations and incidents according to company and client requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience working with limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets or a rustic guard shack is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
