1st Shift Final Inspector

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking a 1st Shift Final Inspector to join their team. As a 1st Shift Final Inspector, you will be part of the quality assurance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: 1st Shift Final Inspector

Location: Lynwood, CA

Pay Range: $22 per hour

Shift: 6am-2:30pm plus OT (Monday to Friday; some saturdays)

Duration: Temp (2 months)

What's the Job?

Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving, and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.

Read and interpret information from planning documents, tool design, blueprints, specifications, and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete, and precise records of inspection.

Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to use.

Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality.

Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide them to QA administrators.

What's Needed?

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.

At least 1 year of experience in inspection.

Familiarity with precision tools is essential.

Ability to assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.

Willingness to suggest new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.
