Responsibilities
Sabre is looking for an entry-level Junior System Administrator who enjoy the challenges associated with solving complex problems. This is a full-time position in our Warminster, PA, location and is an opportunity to use your skills to power our operations to the next level. This individual will be responsible for the implementation of changes and enhancements to Sabre's corporate infrastructure/networks; administration of user accounts, email, and computers; management of wireless devices and services, telephony, and VoIP endpoints; enforcement of corporate network/system standards and procedures for security and disaster recovery. The network is a hybrid cloud environment that supports a variety of business and productivity applications.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Support various @types of networks (data, voice, and video) and network configurations
Configure and install various network devices and services: servers, switches, firewalls, and remote connectivity
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades
Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability
Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning
Provide support and troubleshooting
Develop detailed implementation plans to accommodate network growth, security, and enhancements
Work with other groups within and outside the infrastructure team and vendors to determine the scope and objectives of proposed network configurations
Coordinate and define network requirements such as designs, configurations and installations
Monitor network implementation, providing support in a timely and accurate manner
Ability to manage anti-virus, content filters, patching, backups and network security
Ability to learn new technologies and obtain certifications as necessary
Ability to work extended hours and being on-call occasionally
Travel to other company sites as necessary
Qualifications
Required Experience:
Associate or higher degree in a related field
0-2 years of experience working in a medium to large corporate network environment
Troubleshooting and repairing all hardware and software issues for laptops, desktops, and servers
Ensure network performance with monitoring, analysis, tuning, and troubleshooting network issues
Installation, configuration, maintenance and support of wireless infrastructure and network equipment including switches, firewalls, and wireless access points
Knowledge of cable standards, current network technologies, network topology, and design principles
Maintenance and support of a VoIP telecommunication system including hardware and software
Work with various ISPs to ensure enterprise connectivity to the Internet
Working technical knowledge of current network protocols, operating systems, software, and standards
Advanced knowledge of IPsec VPN tunnels
Prepare and maintain comprehensive network diagrams in Microsoft Visio
Administration of a mobile device management system and associated handheld devices as well as smartphones
Advanced knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues.
Advanced knowledge with Windows 2012 R2 or higher Active Directory environment
Extensive experience with VMware vSphere.
Experience supporting Microsoft Office suite, Azure, and Office 365
Install monthly system patches and upgrades as well as critical security upgrades to production infrastructure after hours
Deliver service levels per company policies
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, hand and power tools, and to handle other computer components
Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals
Must be a detail-oriented self-starter -- function autonomously.
Strong organizational, administrative and time management skills
Demonstrate dedication to consistent quality
Desired Experience:
Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one from the federal government
Familiarity with CMMC, NIST 800-171 or 800-53 frameworks and ISO 20000 processes.
Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows 10 and 11 operating systems in an enterprise environment
Familiarity with Microsoft Intune
Bachelor's degree in a related field
Installation and maintenance of a standard system image for laptops and desktops
Support of audiovisual equipment
Administration and support of an enterprise antivirus application
Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager
Cisco Catalyst and/or HP ProCurve switches utilizing QoS/CoS
Experience with SD-WAN technology with Fortinet firewalls
