FlexStaff is seeking a Temporary Accountant to assist in the accounting department for one of our clients, nonprofit agency dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with psychiatric and developmental disabilities.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounting and bookkeeping for 8 to 10 cash accounts.

Monday - Friday; 9:00AM-4:00PM, half-hour paid lunch, fully on-site.

An ideal candidate would have a degree in accounting and at least two years' experience in general accounting and/or bookkeeping and advanced Excel. Knowledge of FEZ (Fund EZ) a plus, not required.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Ensures bank reconciliations are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Prepare accurate, financial statements in accordance with our established schedule and with input from the rest of the fiscal department. Generates journal entries. Prepares month end journal entries. Corrects errors by posting and adjusting journal entries. Prepares reports in Excel: exports from CSV files, VLOOKUP's, PivotTables and filters.

The salary range for this position is $30-$31/hour
