Description We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team on a contract basis in Eugene, Oregon. This role requires strong skills in accounts payable processes and proficiency with Microsoft Excel. You will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with team members to ensure smooth financial operations.

Responsibilities:

Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification and payment scheduling.

Perform accurate data entry to maintain up-to-date financial records.

Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and track financial data effectively.

Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and ensure seamless workflow.

Assist in reconciling accounts and resolving issues related to payables.

Communicate with vendors to resolve payment inquiries and maintain positive relationships.

Support the team in handling high-volume transactions during peak periods.

Adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or similar accounting roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data management.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial recordkeeping.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to a fast-moving work environment.

Effective communication skills for vendor interactions and team discussions.

Familiarity with invoice processing and reconciliation procedures.

Experience in handling high-volume financial transactions is preferred.
