As a Security Guard - Industrial Patrol Driver in Lafayette, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for potential security-related hazards or unusual conditions in a manufacturing and industrial environment.

Communicate observations and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and client representatives as required.

Support access control procedures by verifying individuals entering restricted areas in accordance with site protocols.

Assist with crowd management and/or traffic control as needed during shift.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
