As a Security Guard - Armed Patrol Driver Government in Butner, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your duties will include conducting routine armed patrols and driving throughout assigned areas, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

Monitor for suspicious behavior and/or activities, reporting any concerns according to established protocols.

Check access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas at the location.

Collaborate with on-site personnel and law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.

Maintain detailed records and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or any unusual occurrences.

Adhere to all company and client protocols while representing Allied Universal in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

An armed guard card or license is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
