Job Title: Assembly Maintenance Technician

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance on automated plastics assembly equipment. This role requires a strong background in both mechanical and electrical maintenance. Candidates must possess the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment independently.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on hydraulics and pneumatics.

Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, with the ability to perform diagnostics independently.

Run cost reports to ensure equipment repairs remain within budget.

Adapt to a 3rd shift position opening, with flexibility to train on any shift initially.

Essential Skills

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

Mechanical troubleshooting expertise; electrical troubleshooting is advantageous.

Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.

Reliability and the ability to take initiative.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

A mechanical degree is a plus.

Proficiency in blueprint reading, industrial welding, and maintenance repair.

Knowledge of 3-phase motors and conveyors.

Mechanic/Technician experience from Military background is a plus!

Work Environment

This position is set in a very high-tech, fast-paced environment, working alongside a team of 40+ maintenance technicians. Candidates will initially train on any available shift, eventually moving to the 3rd shift. Shift hours are as follows: 1st Shift: 6:48 am - 3 pm, 2nd Shift: 2:48 pm - 11 pm, 3rd Shift: 10:48 pm - 7 am. The role includes shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts, as well as additional weekend differentials.

The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $56160.00/yr.
