As a Security Officer - Tech Campus Patrols in Charlotte, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment for all. Your presence and attentiveness will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while you provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, both inside and outside, to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for unusual situations.

Communicate clearly with clients, visitors, and/or employees while providing guidance as needed within a tech and media environment.

Document incidents and observations accurately, following Allied Universal protocols and site requirements.

Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and on-site personnel to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Access control or badge experience is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
