Description We are looking for a skilled Account Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Boulder, Colorado. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounting functions and possess a strong background in managing financial processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and can contribute to maintaining accurate financial records.

Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoice generation and payment collection.

Oversee billing operations and ensure compliance with established policies.

Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

Assist in preparing financial reports and statements as needed.

Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks to manage financial data efficiently.

Support the team in resolving discrepancies and inquiries related to accounting processes.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations.

Monitor and maintain accurate documentation of financial transactions.

Provide input on improving accounting procedures and systems to enhance efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software.

Familiarity with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms.

Strong understanding of general accounting principles and billing functions.

Ability to perform account reconciliations with attention to detail.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Effective communication skills for working with internal teams and external partners.

Ability to adapt to a flexible work environment and meet deadlines.
